2011 Fortuner 3.0D4D hiccup

Hi guys

My 2011 Fortune does something strange every once in a awhile.

It would accelerate fine, revs smooth etc....then sometimes.... somewhere just over 1500 and below 2000 rpm it like there is a deadspot/hiccup. It just takes a slight dip almost like there is no fuel being delivered, just a split second then its gone again.

I cant seem to replicate it at will though.

If ai accelerate hard it doesn't seem to happen at all.

190 000km on the clock. Services up to date. No error lights.

1st stop should be your diesel filter.
The symptoms however makes one think the (suction control valve) SCV could be playing up

Hi Kreefstert. Pls check the diesel filter as that is an item not changed as part of the standard service by Toyota.
