    Excellent ! Well done indeed.
When does a kayak become a fishing boat ?
Look a lot like my Grandpa's steam fishing boat out of Stavanger..
There is no task too simple for some people to complicate !

First test ad it was perfect! But understand the concept: these boats are ment to paddle as everyone know, BUT! Why should the older or physically impaired be excluded from this sport just because they can’t keep up the paddle pace?
This solution opens a new wide world of range, comfort, excitement and enthusiasm!
For me bicycling is out of question, same with jogging, climbing, football because of my weak knees, so i had to invent something to suit my pocket. This motorized kayaks existed a long time ago but its insane expensive.
Fortunately i am close to the ocean and deep sea fishing is a hobby i want to explore from now on!

Hi!, i have a 12 V 100ah LiFePo4 battery (lithium) these batteries you can drain full capacity for 3000 cycles, or more if you do a 80% discharge.
I pull 14.7 Ah at full throttle with a 24 v motor on this 12v battery with a PWM controller. This gives me 6.8 hrs of full throtle or 12 hrs at half throttle ( perfect trolling speed to scan fish) the battery has Bluetooth and supplies me with real time stats, apart of that i also have a smart shunt from Victron that gives me the same info plus good deal of history, range at current consumption ect. I have FULL oversight to say the least. Follow my channel to get updates on field tests in real conditions at sea and fresh water!

back to the fish: i am not sure of the English names of all these, but you can look it up: Torsk (Cod) Lange (Molva) Makrell, Sei, Flindre. Its Norwegian names. And expensive if bought in store. The Cod retails for about 212kr/kg ( R362/kg ) here in Norway. This fish is exclusive in my opinion, and i got a quite a number of them on hook before averaging 7 fish on a good day( full moon high tide afternoon) . They dont like to bite on sunny days, tide shift , warm water and wind. Cleaver bastards. Worth all effort! I am so excited!! Storm here in Norway the past few days, as soon as its over i will be on the water

I am amazed at how long the battery lasts. Of course for my type of fishing its totally impractical.I spend most times upside down when coming back in because we have surf to negotiate.
So most of the fish you catch are bottom feeders.? Or do you get gamefish of sorts as well.?
Doesnt matter where you live but if you have the fishing bug its very contagious.

Ive been dying to fish lately but the surf has been huge and we cant get out. Your rig looks real smart.

What do you do in Norway? Are you a S African living there. ? Is there a kayak fishing community. ? Most of our kayaks are fibreglass. I like the chair .Our arses are constantly wet but the water averages 25 degrees at this time of year.

Ja ek is n Boer in n kakie broek en ek woon in NoorweŰ. Kayak sport here in Norway is very popular since we have magnificent fjords but thousands use paddle sea kayaks and not sit on top fishing kayaks. We have an electric kayak brand here named Old town sportsman MK106 but i cant find any and never seen one on the water.

i am familiar with the constant surf on the coastline, i fish pretty much bottom dwellers, we also get sammon, steinbit and °rret.

Im suprized you get bluefin tuna in Norway. Not the kind of fish you would want to catch on a kayak But the only fish I recognized on your spieces of Norway.

Have you residence or are you just working there .What line of work are you in. Do you want to make kayaking a commercial venture there. ? Sounds like an idea.
