Hi,
I registered when I had my Disco 3 but never did a intro because the Disco 3 was sold months after purchasing. Spent more time in the workshop than driving it. Previous owner hadn't taken care of it. Venturing back into the SUV world - buying a fortuner now that the kids are all old enough to walkso we can start off the beaten path adventures. Looks like I've settled on a 2018 2.8 GD6. Noticed the power difference between that and the 2.4. Mainly used for school and back trips.
Welcome!

Welcome and sorry I edited your post and quoted only the part that is almost a mirror image of my story.
Don"t be mistaken, I miss my D3 with passion, especially the soft ride, the stability and maneuverability and the space...but where it was a a constant repair and check on weekends, i can now only open my Fortuner 3.0 D-4-D's bonnet to check oil and coolant (and getting very "slapgat" to do do it every time before taking on a rough Sandy road) ...Really a very reliable vehicle...
