The centre of the low pressure will be directly over Beira at 06h00 UTC on Saturday.
As reference : As a HAM I ran the SA Maritime Net for a number of years and I transmitted daily weather forecasts to yachtsmen sailing between Australia and the Caribbean (usually for 3 - 4 days ahead in 6 hourly slots) using Buoy Weather and Zygrib. Zygrib has proved to be extremely accurate.

On Monday Tuesday the prognosis for Eswatini was looking bad in terms of rain and wind. Seems like a well timed approaching frontal system is keeping it north and we will be getting moderate rain between Sunday and Tuesday.

Looks like it will hit Beira tomorrow morning at about 4am.
Seems this has tracked further south than predicted. Our rain expected before noon. How are you guys in Limpopo and Mpumalanga holding up?
Looks like Beira got battered

Tzaneen 70mm and still rains hard, Magobaskloof had 90mm last night and is open again after trees blocked the R71
Barberton, good rain since early morning. Nothing hectic and no wind to speak of. The serious heat of the last few weeks is temporarily gone. Not aware of any damage so far. Prediction is for another 24 hours of more rain as the tip of a cold front slides in underneath the hot, moist tropical air. We hope for this to be true as plenty rain is still required in the area.![]()
