Episode 3 is live, late but live.

    https://youtu.be/4QC8UEPbMpc

I'll explain the lateness and announce a give away early next week!

Let me know if there's any feedback? Thanks all!

Enjoyed the video Tim ! Looking forward to the rest of the videos to come !

The sound control has improved a lot, no need to switch between volume levels, thank you ! The hyena footage at the end was awesome ! Lot of people focus on the big stuff, was awesome to watch those 2 Klipspringer as well !

Glad to hear you managed to recover your data !

    Just watched your episode 3.
    Well done indeed.
We are also great lovers of KNP and have done it up, down and sideways over very many years.
You bring those experiences back to life for us in a normal, relaxed and natural way which very many (most) other similar series do not.
Your camera work is excellent, your commentary good, and your speech is natural - not stinted or having the "I'm reading off a script" feeling.

I subscribed since your first episode and have enjoyed them all to date.
Keep up the good work - you obviously enjoy it which is what makes it so genuine.

It amazes me how individuals can put together such professional looking videos with limited resources! I wish I could do something similar but sadly don't have the knowledge (or equipment)?
Just watched the intro and Episode 1 and will be following. Good luck

Hi Tim, just a question about booking campsites in Kruger.
Did you just book for the initial couple of nights and then find out about availability as you went along, or did you pre-book the accommodation?

Thank you man, I do have 15 years background in professional photography, so that took care of the equipment.

The the rest is just loads of hours of hard work, its a whole new skill, and to film, edit and produce it all really can be tough. Especially with my self imposed deadline! But to hear people are loving it makes it all worth while!

On the camp sites, we booked the first leg in advance, the second leg we had booked about 3 weeks, and then just extended and extended.

Really enjoyed the series, tanks Tim.

The issues with the RAID hopefully has taught you a few lessons to be avoided at all cost

Your leopard sightings were just insane, but I suppose the time and efforts put in paid kindly in return.

Well done, incredibly jealous with your dayjob

Thank you! It's the first time in my life I've been able to spend such an extended period in the park, and as you say the time and effort paid off. There are even more unbelievable sightings coming from the south. We got incredibly lucky, but also sat with predators for up to 5 hours without seeing anything. And even then it doesn't always pay off.

Ah brilliant, thanks for the support!

Working on Episode 5 as we speak, going to be a late night. It's also the first episode with my new camera (R5), so the monster files have forced me into stream lining my workflow, will make a video about that as well.

Awesome stuff, the footage you produce is really outstanding. Would really like to see some of your kit, editing skills and workflows. Just watched a review on the R5. 8k, 120fps, yikes!

I suppose you use the media proxy features in Premier Pro to handle those file sizes, becomes impossible to physically edit those files directly.
