Car standing since start of lockdown

my daughters car has been parked in the garage since the beginning of lockdown
what maintenance must she have done IRO
fuel in the tank
cooling system
all lubricants
what else must be looked at
it is a 1400 VW citistorm
your advise is appreciated

If it were me, Id pump the tyres, jump start, and drive.

Charge battery, start , keep revs low , pump tyres .

Depending on your sense for adventure or rather safety since it's your daughter who will be going back on the road, a full service including all oils and other fluids, check breaks, tyres and wheel bearings.

It has been standing for a year, maybe you can afford to be stranded alone next to the road at night, but your daughter can't.

Not a train smash if it was looked after mechanically. Take her around the block a few times until the fan kicks in and pay particular attention to the cooling system - check by the radiator and on the inside of the car and make sure that the carpets are not wet.

Many cars stand for way longer periods than that at distributors, dealers, panel beaters and auction houses. We as the public buy these cars without flinching or caring how long they have been standing.

Check fluids, pump tires, do brake test and inspect visually. Drive as normal.
