It was a great way to spend the day, thanks XC90 for the luxury lift, 5 star Uber all the way. I fear my XV would of taken a couple of the bypass routes.

Yeah. The Hummer went up on fully inflated all weather tyres with 2x varked front shocks

I chickened out on gert se klip, seeing it in real life made me doubt if the volvo can make it without serious shots, low range in my opinion is really needed as its is very steep but also not smooth, i saw many towbars millimeters away from bashing against the rocks through one of the dips halfway up, so in my mind i was losing a bumper quickly if i cant go up the klip in a very slow and controlled manner

The fuel consumption on those tyres are bad as they are quite a lot larger than the standard wheels, heavy and basically Mud terrains, i dont have an exact number for you though as this is a spare set of wheels that i use purely of my excursions but i do notice the diesel goes much quicker when they are on haha

They cost me R11 800 for a set of 4. 265/65/18

I love them, they definately help the volvo along on its offroading shortfalls hehe

It seems to be a more difficult road down from obstacle 10s loop.
