No more Czechs there now. Many african countries are forbidden for us untill 11.4. due to virus variant incidence. Just Namibia remained for us now. Sadly we are No.1 in Covid and the forbidden countries have about 50 times lower incidence then us at the moment.

We love Russians, they are good fun, hearty, and wholesome people who would do anything for a friend.. Try joining them next time. You will be amazed.

We are just back from a Tanzania Safari but without going to Zanzibar.

I wonder if you are now in quarantine in Germany after your trip to Tanzania?

We grew up in the GDR and had our own experience with them. If you like 100 gram Wodka many times on an evening than it is fine. If you like that they wast more than half of the food they take from the buffet than it is fine. If you like noisy people than it is fine too. If you don't care about Covid 19 than it is time for you to join the mass tourism in Zanzibar now.

They can’t be as obnoxious as Brits in costa del sol. I’ve met a lot of really cool and fun Russians. They have a great perspective on life. Sure, there are some obnoxious ones. Plenty of obnoxious Germans. And even more obnoxious Americans.

@apfac and @Wazungu Wawili There will be of course a trip report - maybe not in my usually way - more like images with a little bit text. The low number of Tourists and the opportunity to get a Spezial Campsite at Lake Ndutu in February was the reason for us to go back to Tanzania on a very short note. With Ethiopian Airlines we had not this trouble with tests before flying. We are now on day 5 of 10 in quarantine at home but this isn't a problem for us. We are not anymore in the job and the fridge and the freezer are full. We can easily survive.
