    Default Looking for a discontinued part

    90948T1001

    CUSHION, FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER

    The dealers informed me that this part has been discontinued.
    1. How essential is it to replace with the rest of the shock mount kit? (My 2006 Hilux has 310k kms and I have bought the kit, but without this part)
    2. If essential, where may I find these. I have looked online and they are available, but delivery cost is exorbitant.

    Any ideas will be appreciated.

    If a rubber part, look for similar or close to it, at rubber components manufacturer..
    Then modify to make fit

    Here in our area I go to Rubberman

    Edit. Quite scary actually. I can still buy rubber suspension components from Toyota for my '97 Hilux

    I am not planning on replacing the shocks now.

    Found the part at Gemini. Now to get it to the Cape. They don't do dispatch and delivery arrangements.
    I suppose Postnet will be best?
