Likewise the Gypsy cured me of speed, 120 feels very fast these days....

Our local dealer seemingly has 3 AT's in stock, going to have a look today

Kids aren't the problem. It's all the paraphernalia that escort them...

Less packing space with the back seats up. A little more with the back seats down

Have just collected my Jimny (Kinetic Yellow Auto) in Pretoria and driven back to Tzaneen. Cruise control @ 130 kph up and down hills. Up Ysterberg between Mokopane and Polokwane I lost maybe 2kph and then still had to slow down for slower traffic. Very impressed so far. Vehicle has surprisingly little road noise. Love it.

    Petri,
My seun het syne nou net so oor n jaar.

Drove one on 4x4 track during a fun day arranged by the local dealer.
Best result was an auto with the traction control turned off, low range, gearbox in L........just went through with zero effort.
Did the same track as passenger in my friend's manual and my Gypsy. None struggled (because Zook) but that auto was noticeably better.

Well it seems Suzuki does not agree . In the manual on page 3.56 It states that the ESP Program consists of three parts
    1 Stability Control
    2 Traction Control
    3ABS

It then states on page 3-58 "When the ESP off switch is pushed and held to turn off the ESP systems (other than ABS off) The manual says you can put off traction control. Havent had a chance to test with my JIMNY. So SUZUKI disagrees that TC cannot be put off.

I have had my Jimny since Nov 2018, if the traction control could be turned off, I would know about it. Please give the reference in the manual where it says the traction control can be turned off.

My friend with the manual Jimny used to be a VW salesman and had training on those systems, he showed the dealership's staff that day....
You hold down that bottom for 5 seconds, I will not put my head on a block regarding what exactly gets turned off, but I can tell you I felt no more interference.
