Default Looking for 4x4 double cab

We are currently looking for a a 4x4 double cab for my son and looking in the price range below R180k. His first choise was Toyota. Criteria: he has a banana farm and needs to transport the banans to selling points and the slopes and weight obviously needs low range. He also has a deep sea fishing boat and needs the vehicle for launching the boat

Toyota - In this price range high km unless on OLX you can get a 2010 with 99000km for R129,000, please. Sold in FDordsburg or Jhb central.

Would like some feedback as I do not know these vehicles and do not read a lot about them on the forum which tells me no serious issues:
    1. Nissan Nivara 2.5 over 200k km, how reliable is the engine and drive train?
    2. Hardbody 2.4 - Fuel consumption and power. Will this launch a ski boat
    3. 2700 Toyota fuel consumption
    4. Mahindra??
    5. Isuzu good engine and vehicle usually high km
    6. Toyota 2.5 D4D power ? Reliability?

Any other recomendations will be appreciated.

Seriously, not the Hardbody 2.4 petrol. The Hilux 2.5 D4-D is slow, but it will do the job. Why not a Triton 3.2? You have one yourself?

Daai clutch. Maar dis my opinie

2.5Hilix is n slak as n dc 4x4. 500 000 plus maklik doen. Ek het een.. 400 000km gedoen maar o jy het kalender nodig as jy ry.

The Nissan 2.5 in 4x4 will be a solid choice yes, but you will have a hard time finding a DC in that price range. Might have to settle on a single can then

Isuzu 2.5D will also be a good option if you can find one. They are very slow but are extremely reliable and are real workhorses.

3.2 Triton will beat all these options - sit down and speak to your son and those engines are really tough

You're right. I forgot they brought the 2.5 diesel 4x4 d/c out from 2018 only.
I see they start from around R239k. Anyway that's what I picked mine up for.
