Default Terra Firma Pro Sport shock absorbers

When I bought my Disco 2 10 years ago, I fitted longer springs and 2" Terra Firma shocks.

Now, 10 years later and many kilos of dirt roads, they are a bit tired and needing replacement. My search for 2" shocks only got me a set of rears from lp4a, Bearmach brand gas shocks. Anyone has experience with these?

The only other option (within my budget) is the Terra Firma Pro Sport shocks from British 4x4. The later TF shocks got a bad name for premature failure, so anyone has some experience of the Pro Sport?

I have a set of TF Pro Sports on my Defender (the whole kit with coils and shocks), and I love them. The ride is decent for a Defender and the flex is amazing.

I've recently done a trip through northern KZN with them, and they took all the punches with ease. The kit also flexes like crazy, which I also like. Just make sure the rear shock washers are installed correctly (pics in the box)

I've got the Bearmach medium in one of my D2s front and rear.. they are very comfortable and hold up well offroad in my opinion.

I've put the green gas dampers in my D1 rebuild with Bearmach Blue HD springs and they doing fine. Only been 6000km but I have no complaints.

I had Terrafirma Commercial HD shocks on my Defender and the one shat after less kms so seems better. I believe Terrfirma went through a quality issue but it is now sorted, I know a few guys using the Big Bore expedition shock from them with no issues.
