Question Which new things did you learn to do today

We are never too old to learn new things.

    My list:
    - Print from an android phone/tablet to our printer

    - I can change language on a phone and instead of typing just talk WhatsApp message on multiple languages. I convinced SWAMBO to try Afrikaans. It works even on numbers like 78

    - There are electricians who cannot wire two light switch system for one light

    - WD My Cloud Home on a network is absolutely easy to set up (Incredible Connection was cheapest to buy it ). I have had problems in setting up network drives. I learned that it can be also easy.

    Not a bad day.

Crawl gears can get you unstuck in soft sand. Where HR and even LR just digs you in, a slow crawl edges you out ever so slow. Took 2 minutes to cover about 3 meters, but even on a slight hill, and pushing out the rear wheel on the inside of the corner, with only 3 wheels having spinning, it crawled out.

I learnt that the universe is infinite and so is stupidity.

But we're not sure about the universe.

    This should be banned outright.
Switch off the TV - not worth the pain.
If you make a noise or need music in the bush or on the beach, you’re missing the point.

    Google tells, which channels:
    https://www.thecricketer.com/Topics/...0%2B%20Hotstar.

Stream channel from UK. UK channels tend to have better commentary.

Here’s a fun game for you:
    - Watch the cricket with a bottle of wiskey
    - Take a shot each time Ntini says “can be able to...”

Western Digital MyBook Live 2 Tb network drive fried as a result of lightning. Drive is local backup. All important data is further backed up to Cold Storage at BackBlaze. Safer to recover local than the one at the cloud.

Education video how to open the drive:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rd_E4bvteLw

Education video how to copy the data:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALHERw954ko

Order casing from Takealot and buy DiscGenius Pro (not cracked edition!)
    https://www.diskgenius.com/

    Data is copying.

Operating system in many of these network drives is light Linux. As a result it is Linux file system. There are other ways to copy the data but having the drop/slide in casing and the software makes my life easier now and later. Program comes with lifetime support and updates

Nice to have these videos for nearly everything.
