    Default Fundudzi Lake & Surrounds

    Hello Members,
I've had the Fundudzi Lake and and the Sacred Forrest and surrounds in my head for a long time and want to plan a visit there as a detour to Punda Maria. But I see from previous posts it may be more challenging than a single vehicle with four passengers should plan to do.

    I would appreciate some advice.

Also, the attractions such as the waterfalls (Mahavhovho, PhiPhidi and Debegeni) in that area are difficult to locate on maps. Some directions would be appreciated.

Maybe a few pointers for you from my blog https://offthehamsterwheel.co.za/201...-soutpansberg/. As Johan said, it's not possible to get very close to the lake both out of respect and also it's very muddy as you get closer. But still worth a visit and the surrounding roads are fine.
