Tonight I have a moer of a big farm tsikken in the gas dingus. Cajun spiced. Will put some anti cia covered sweet poratoes on a bit later. And of course a brandy to keep the hand busy during the wait.Click image for larger version.

The gas is very convenient for a quick braai on a week night. The real fire is for the weekend when you have time and beer.

This evening I made a winner fillet steak (swambo's favourite),on the gas, last week I used the gas braai three nights in a row. On Saturday I cranked up the Weber.

The weber q impressed me. We baked, grilled, fried in it. It does everything very good and easy. Rainy last night and just pulled it in under the tent canopy. Made an awesome chicken. We now make a fire from cheap wood just for the ambiance and braai on the gas.

No flame bit doimg what Dudds did, flat ironed some porterhouses seasoned only with S&P to caramalise, drizzled with lemon and then garlic and butter. "Smashed" perito on the side.

On the dingis with the knoppies and goeders

It are time for a quickie
Just some fast kebabs with naan, masala air fryer tjips and yoghurt mint cucumber sousie. Tried a new version of the kebab to speed things up. Onion, green pepper, garlic, spices and a handful of skaap stert vet into a blender. Blend into a paste then mix into mince and voila.
Didn’t manage to get any proof of the completed project but you can paint the mental picture with these pics.
