We have a winner. The cucumber cauliflower combo hits all the right spots and this will be my new standard for seafood curry.

I braaied my first steak this weekend. I was pleasantly surprised at how tender and delicious it was. I didn't take a photo as I didn't want to be responsible for a heart attack or two.

It are Time, but It are Raining again.

So 'cause I've been forced to inflict the shiny white dingus with knoppies and goeters upon myself, I thought I'll put some okes off their chow tonight....

The smileys have been in the belly of the beast, tightly covered with foil and well rubbed with salt, coarse black pepper and biltong spice, for 2 hours. Still another 2 hours of slow, open baking to go.

    Cheers Guys!

I've never been partial to animal CPUs.
Or the lower waste management system. Even less the air filters.

You should share the recipe for those sheep CPU's. I've never had it but I would definitely try some from someone who knows how to cook it!

Louis, the "recipe" is extremely simple:

    1. Let the CPU sulk overnight in a saturated salt brine with lemon juice and coarse black pepper added.
    2. Put the CPU into an oven baking dish, rub with salt, some more coarsely ground black pepper and spice - I prefer biltong spice. Add H20 to dish.
    3. Cover the dish tightly with heavy duty anti-CIA foil and put into the belly of the shiny white dingus with knoppies and goeters for 2 hours at 180deg C.
    4. Take out, take off anti-CIA, add some anti-vampire to the water/sauce in bottom of pan and put back into the oven for a further 2hrs at 160deg C, basting often with said sauce.

Alternatively gooi the CPU into the round black dingus with a deksel for 1,5 hours, then take off the anti-CIA and take CPU out of the oven dish. Give it another 2 hours on indirect heat, basting often.
