    I made one myself but I am very disappointed in the flimsyness. Its just 0,3mm thick.

    I pulled the chops a bit late, should have been at 50c
    Place the centre grid on the vortex to sear the chops while the hybrid braaibroodjies tan.

    Spiceman, by your pic I would say that you have used the same type of bucket as I did. I only used a bigger ones bottom part which is reinforced, but like I said in the other post, the mixing bowl would be better.

    Theres another option. We used to have shop that deals with special metals like stainless. Super nice people. They sell lengths, of cuts and can manufacture things. They disappeared but I'm looking for them. I believe such a place can manu a vortex for a lot less than Amazon or Weber.
