My very modest tribute to Riaan. Cant do it on the 28th so a Christmas tribute it will be.

Riaan and I chatted a lot on a photography forum many years, and working in the same area tried many times to get together but it never worked out.I can only imagine how much I could have learnt from him. He had the most incredible "eye" for a photo. He could see a photo in things that 99% of us would walk past. There was a pic of him lying in the Ingwavuma river on one of his threads to get a stunning pic. That sums up his dedication.

RIP Riaan you will be missed by all who have come into contact with you.

Condolences and prayers for the family left behind.

Will be thinking of the memorial service on the 28th.

I cooked traditional today. And my wife made pudding.

    Leg of Lamb
    Gravy
    Rice
    Roast Potatoes
Green Beans with Bacon and Cream
    Sweet Pumpkin
    Cauliflower and Creamy Cheese Sauce
Wife's Malva Pudding with Custard and Ice-cream

And some KWV Merlot. My daughter took the picture of me with a glass of red wine. She says I look funny with the small glass, because I always have a large glass of Brannas in my hand
