    Default Troopy's still available?

Toying with the idea of getting a Troopy and starting a fit out project for over landing, but don't see any for sale. Are they still being imported and why none for sale second hand?

I am sure if Toyota brought a few in, depending on price, they would be snapped up and not even make it to the showroom floor. I would also love one.

    Group buy?
Seeing that there are some members interested already, why not get together, go to a SMALLER dealership somewhere and ask them whether they could assist? I'm sure it's a different story if one dealer gets 3 or 4 orders at once than if you guys pitch up at different dealers individually?

Thanks for all responses and mirrors my own experience.Pity, its a great vehicle and the perfect overlanding platform. I see them everywhere in Africa, don't know why SA stopped [email protected], will that still work on our "dirty" diesel?

If Rupert could do it for the MB 6x6, why can't a few of us get this done?

I am in, depending on price

Hello. We have a 2012 LC Troopy that has been modified for camping. It has 55000kms on the clock, twin hatch conversion in the roof, ARB front bull bar, ARB rear bumper and dual spare wheel conversion, OME suspension conversion front and back, rear spring air bags, Front Runner load body sliding tray, 6 new BF Goodrich all terrain tyres, Australian low pressure turbo conversion, Australian Emu wing rear window gull wing conversion x 2. This is a very well converted and kitted out vehicle. If anyone is interested in purchasing, please message me.

Only car I've ever been sentimental about I do miss it, lovely overland vehicle, awful to tow with though (1HZ). Would not mind a V8 at all...

man.....im drooling at these pics of the troopys.......Called barlow toyota in menlyn and they said that the dealerships wont import and that the best bet is to call TSA directly to determine if they can bring in a few as a grey import....maybe an option chaps
