The owners manual should describe the towing process, though normally the engine does have to be running or you intially start the engine and then put the gearbox in neutral and then switch off.
All you need to do to tow it is to put the transfer case in neutral and put the transmission in park as per the owners manual.Click image for larger version.

    My options are expanding.

I found a place in Germany that refurbish the Bosch Piezo Injectors (445115 067), now to see if it will be viable to send my injectors to them and get ones from them and if they ship to SA.

    It is getting better!

I spoke to one of my suppliers from whom we bought a R15bar digital press from, they ship parts and consumables between Germany and SA weekly, if I give them the old injectors they will take it to Germany for me and exchange it on my behalf, I must just of course pay for the injectors.

Glad you making progress. Just one thing jumps out to me, you have the 2.8 VM Motori straight 4 engine, which is Italian.

So how come Germany has the things you need? Maybe they do, just do your homework.

Keep in mind that Bosch makes the injection components for these engines.
Also it highly likely that Wranglers and other large FCA(or whatever they are now)vehicles are more common in Germany than Italy.

Have you check if the injectors get pulsed. Normally 12v pos on one side of the injector. The negative get pulsed. Check With multimeter. Do not think you problem is injectors me think it is electrical.

This sounds like a good plan, how exactly do I go about testing the injectors? Do I unplug the injectors and test the plug inside?

I decided to strip out the injectors to take it to a place to get tested, this is what I found when I took out the front injector:

    The injector hole is filled with Qbond;
The injector was fixed with Qbond, that cracked probably due to the heat.

Who used the Qbond I don't know, why no one pointed it out to me when there was work done, I don't know, but I am extremely unhappy

The plastic valve cover (I assume?), can I remove it myself to see if anything was Qbonded close like a crack, or must it be torqued?

No I'm pretty sure you can just take it off.

See if you can get the workshop manual for that engine.

Eben did your head work, the last person to have worked with those injectors, what does he say about what you have found?

Sorry for yet another screwup by an indy!

I'm also in the boat of "nobody but me touches my Wrangler, unless I really can't do it", as a reputable Indy also stuffed up on my Wrangler, which I fixed afterwards because if they had to fix it, it would have been another R5k and 2+days without my jeep..

The WK2 will go to an Indy just to try and keep some of its book value to be sold later on! but after the Indy stamped the book I will most probable check all the work that was supposed to be done because I know there will be some mess!

Anyone can follow a manual but you as a owner will follow that manual with more care than a dealer or Indy that needs to push out cars to make money...

Use this as a reference for your JK torque specs, it has saved my bacon a few times!

That is what I decided as well. I will save up, buy the injectors and replace them myself.

The one indie here at N4 Gateway tells me the computer must be re programmed for the new injectors, anyone knows wether this is true?
