headlight indication on dash?

on the Isuzu go big shape, is there no indicator on the dash to tell you if your lights are on?

It beeps if you remove the keys and open the door, but a few times i have been waiting in the car and left the lights on

Most vehicle only have an indicator for brights or fog lights. It would be clever to have an indicator that your dims or park lights are on.

I wired a buzzer to my LC76 park light circuit that triggers when you turn the ignition off. No need to even remove the key before it buzzes.

OK I checked my 03 Isuzu. My buzzer only goes on if lights on, key off and door open. I have to check the dash to see any sign of lights from the other instruments on cluster although it's difficult in the daytime. I have a habit of checking front lights when I leave the bakkie, forgot once and had to get a jump start.

I have been wanting to do this on mine. Even got so far as to know that pin 15 is for the fog lamp indicator ( Planning to use this on mine). Haven't gotten around to it yet though. Never bothered me till I got the Discovery 3 which has a lights on indicator.

so it seems then that there is no standard indication so ill have to do a bit of wiring, maybe connect a LED directly to the light relay so it is on when the lights are on

My 2011 has a headlight dim indicator on the dash!

Me old Isuzu does not, dam this thread has now got me doubting my abilities to check my lights. Time to wire in a small lead into the dash from the park lights. What colour led to use.. Red will make me panic when driving, green will make me think diff lock is on, orange will indicate engine problem, white will be too bright, blue will indicate main beams.

Only the fog lights have a "green" lights on indicator (last of Go-Big shapes) 2012
