Default Raad ASB - Ou Oom met 'n Warm Patat Tata

    Hi Almal

Oom in my Kerk, NICE Oom, hy stel ook my Bea se klavier ens ens het 'n warm Tata.

    THANKS

Forgot to mention - he's also looking at some other engine conversion if necessary.......I advised him against it, but ja. Are there RELIABLE alternatives here??
Although my feeling is he should'nt go there - conversions have their own issues etc etc etc.

Funny thing is the thing doest get hot AT ALL, only losing water through that reservoir.

    But it bothers him.

Then even a curveball...........cant he just keep it as it is, or will there be more damage?? He uses it maybe 5/6000km per year.

    Hi Petri,

I would first change the radiator cap with a original OEM unit. Is is a pressurised water bottle or normal?

Go have a radiator test done and this should indicate if there is exhaust gas in the water. If it is not getting hot then could be a small issue.

    Geoff - howzit man

According to him the radiator cap is fine.

He hasny done the rad test but he says the water that runs from the reservoir is " sommer so vol borrels en skuim ", so I guess it IS indeed top gasket?

DIS wat my pla.
