    Default Caprivi camping spots

From what I can gather there are a number of camping sites that are under water at the moment. We had been planning to stay at Namwi Island, Nambwa, and Ngepi but these may not be reachable from what I can make out. Are there any other really good spots to camp at which will not be affected by the floods in early June?

Nunda have very nice sites and were open when we camped there in the April school holidays. They also have sites that isn't right on the river. Four sites is right on the river which were partly flooded, but we could camp there. I Think they have only eight sites, so booking is advised - especially if the other camps is flooded. Very friendly owners, very good ablutions. Way more trailer with RTT friendly than Ngepi.

Ngepi took campers over to the sites with a boat, but that would work if you only have a littlle gear. Popa falls camp could also accomodate us.

The floods should be no reason not to go! My advice would be to call beforehand.

    Enjoy

Will have a look at Nunda, thanks.
Any other camping sites that will be flood-free?

Several nice sites in area, all with power - Popa Falls ok, Rainbow nice grassed sites, Ngepi very funky/young feel, but you cannot put a trailer/caravan on the actual sites. Checked out most, but for me, best by far is Nunda - superbly neat & clean, sites private, incredible attention to detail - also hippos grunt all day long, and better value than the others. Will stay here several days more.
Also Mahango game park nearby a must visit. Saw so much in one drive this morning.

Are these places still as good as in 2009? We're planning a trip to the Caprivi strip in June. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

Aviator, jy moenie praat nie! Ons gaan in die Junie skoolvakansie, maar ek is nou soos 'n stout kind wat nie behoefte kan uitstel nie!
