Solar panel brands

Curious, is there a good or bad solar panel in terms of brand names or quality...

If I want a good solar panel, what do I look for??

For sure there are different quality panels and good/bad brands.

Much more important than working out what’s what for yourself is buying from a reputable source and buying the best panel for the job.

I once spoke to the MD of a large company who installs big solar plants and he recommended the Canadian solar panels as their preferred choice

Strongly recommend you go to or contact Setsolar in Epping. ........ and I am not affiliated to them in anyway except that I and number of friends have been using their products for many years (domestic as well as off road) and have yet to have a problem.
IN addition, their service and expertise is excellent.

Go to a Company that installs installations on farms , Cool Rooms etc and they will know ..Thats what I did ..They even built me an installation for our old camping system ..Battery in a Wolf Pack that I gave them ..Worked like a dream

I would start by taking a in-depth look at the Canadian brand.
If you then decide not to go with them, at least you can use them as the benchmark to compare other brands against.

And seeing that you are looking at 2 panels, assuming the first two, consider 400w or bigger panels too, price difference per watt is same or even slightly cheaper.

I second Canadian. Spec and price are good.
