    Default Which seat covers?

I'd like to get a set of seat covers for my new Fortuner.
Suppliers I've found on the Internet are Takla, Stone Hill, Melvill & Moon, Escape Gear etc.
I'd appreciate comment on any of these suppliers - their product quality, service, fit, good/bad etc.?
    Any recommendations?
    Thanks.

For 15 years my FT was excellent - so I bought another one.

I fitted Mellville and Moon to my Patrol couple of months ago because they were the only people I could find to supply me. Very expensive but outstanding quality and service. Would use them any time again.

I can only comment on Escape Gear.

I bought mine from DocJ at the 10% forum discount. I am the type of person that looks after things, for example I make a point of it to get into and out of my car without buggering up the side part of the seat in the process, unlike people that slides in and out of their seat.

I remove them annually, wash them as per their instructions, leather feed the seats and put the covers back.
We have two children as well.

I have had them for 8 years now and they still look fantastic considering the age.

And they will repair your seat covers if they are worn or torn! Big plus...

I had Escape Gear in my Trailblazer and just recently bought Escae Gear for the Isuzu (also through Docj at the 10% Forum Discount).

We are very happy with the fit and quality overall.

The seat covers or the kids?

I'll look into Melvill & Moon and two others and take it from there.

Have had the same set off Takla covers for 14 years now...still perfect and the leather seats still look brand new.

I ordered and fitted Kindo seat covers earlier this year. Got the X Rider logo embroyded into the back rest which is something i really wanted from the start. Ordered payed and delivered within a week and very happy with the quality and fit. Price was also not to bad compared to other quotes

Got Melville & Moon for the FJ a little more than a year ago. They fit well and look good. I like the various pockets in the front seat covers. At the rear of the back rest there is an elastic strap pocket with snap button. Inside of that large pocket is a smaller zip pocket and then there is a slightly larger zip pocket outside.
The price was pretty much in line with the other fitted canvas seat covers like Escape Gear and Takla.

If you want to go fancy, have a look at Beesdam.

One year at Nampo Melville and Moon GAVE me a spare wheel cover for my 90. I had M and M seat covers so now had the complete set.

I have them in my D4, expensive but smart, practical and hard wearing. You don't sweat. Great covers wish I had the money for their baggage.

I fitted Stone Hill seat covers and dash cover in our GD6 hilux...was the best price and service was great...they even did my stitching in colour I wanted.

The fit is great and quality appears great too.

I have Melvill and Moon in my cruiser. Could not afford the fancy ones so bought their cheap version called "Bokseil" very very happy.

Will be getting a set for my other vehicle next year.

Was a ling wait but worth it.

I got Stone Hill for the Patrol for 3 reasons:

    1. Best price
    2. Lifetime guarantee
    3. Only one with piece of leather on the "slide-off" side of the seat, where most of the wear & tear occurs.

    As a plus I got:
    1. Excellent quality
    2. Outstanding service
    3. Perfect fit.

I will recommend them without a 2nd thought - and that is NOT something I easily do.

Now I am looking for covers as well :-)

Any feedback on the Caprivi range of seat covers? Does anyone have?

I fitted the Caprivi Heritage Range in the front seats only. The third row has been taken out and the second row is always folded down on a trip - it’s just the 2 of us.

It’s looks to me to be a quality product. The grey colour looks really good and the fabric cleans well. I’m a happy camper
