the 80's and 90's cars were amazing, but there is just something about the newer cars; however, I appreciate each on their own merits.

    Just WOW.

James let a few things slide from a development perspective, more horses, bulges in the engine cover to accommodate said horses, new aero parts underneath the floor (could it be another DAS situation?), Parts designed to last longer to deal with budget caps etc. Could this spell trouble for the other teams?

Is it just me or were they intentionally trying to downplay the situation and the release of the new car? Nobody except James appeared to be excited. I could be wrong though

Jaco, Rottweiler's eyes? Come on, it's not that bad. I mean, I even admitted to start liking the Ferrari's. Let it out, you will feel much better for it. this is a safe place

Great book, but I think I expected more technical stuff pertaining to safety.
I did enjoy the insight into the medical preparation for the various races.

    Good morning.

Sitting with a cup of coffee and quicly scanning this thread, I have decided it is time to revert to my inner 6 year old.

I am not counting the months and weeks anymore until the 1st race.

    It is only 23 "slapies"😆😆.

I am super hyped for the coming season - but really cannot say exactly why. Maybe just a sense that the stars are aligning for an exciting season?

    Anyhow, let the "countdown" commence.

I'm also counting the slapies, but my count is only 8. That is when we'll find out if the Ferrari engine really is back.

There be cracks appearing..........big enough for Max and George to slip through?

Personally I hope Max can get to his 1st title in a Red Bull. If there is going to be a changing of the guards let it include the horses as well.

Everybody is taking Lewis's 8th title as a given. I'm not totally convinced. Although he downplays the importance, I'm sure that is his ultimate aim and then whatever happens next year is almost of no consequence.

So what if he does not win this year? He will be in a rather difficult position

    Exactly.

I hope the world keep on telling Lewis that his 8th this year is a given. Next year Lewis may really start feeling his age, much as I belief Alonso will do this year. Interesting permutations.

Change is in the air. Overdue as well (looking from and through a distinctly RED view).
