Rumour has it that it is a F1 driver in disguise, on his way to the local co-op to buy sand bags!

The Ferrari street-circuit-honeymoon seems to be over.
The "classic" layout in France also shows that Mercedes-Benz don't have boot capacity for sandbags. The Max-Red Bull combo are going to have their hands full this weekend.

I really don't hate Lewis. I hate that he isn't racking up those victories and championships in a Maranello red Ferrari.

He won't be able to win many races in any of the other manufacturers' cars. At least not at the moment.

    Interesting remark Roelf.

A Ferrari driver has to have a certain quality or demeanour that is very hard to quantify or describe.

I could never picture Lewis in Red (for that matter neither Bottas - even less so). I can easily imagine Max or Danny R in Red. Not Checo or Ocon. Russel, yes. Lando, yes. Stroll, never.

But I have to say with Lec & Sainz we have a damn near close to perfect Ferrari team at the moment.

I have no comment, I was also dresssed like this once. But it was my bachelors and I was extremely drunk.

I couldn't care about the racer's "character", as long as he is in a winning Ferrari. As a matter of fact, I think Schumi was most probably the least "Ferrari-like" driver possible. If you want, a Ferrari driver should have "Latin-passion". That does exclude those ice cold lads from Finland, but also the Teutonic crowd. Yet, all Ferrari's driver championships, since a South African Jew brought it home for them, came from Germany and Finland.

Let us highlight this again - it seems to have gone amiss.

Interesting point. FP1 topped by VB himself.

As a matter of fact, I'll even cheer Trump if he brings it home for Ferrari, but I will draw the line if JZ does it.

Have to wonder how much help Valtteri will be prepared to give Sir Lewis this weekend if he is also running at the head of the field. He probably knows his time at Merc will come to an end this year, so why not race for yourself? If you give Sir Lewis a good run for his money, your post-Merc stock might just rise a bit.

If they just impose track limits as it should be imposed (outside the white lines) there will be no need for those big yellow bollards that breaks the cars.

Second, well done Max! Where the hell is Perez. Looks like RB still have something to give this weekend. I cannot wait for tomorrow.

Will be great if he can give LH a run for his money, wheel to wheel. If I was in his shoes, I would leave nothing out there, and literally drive the wheels off the car. Every Sunday.

Ja, for some reason I donít see an explanation. It might be due to some bolt on additions to verify on Bottasís car for some reason, but then in a swapped chassis.

I am trying to get the reasoning behind this. Hopefully Ted Kravitz will solve this mystery on the Sky Youtube Channel.

    It was discussed during FP2.
    MB does it every year.
    Nothing sinister.

Lewis wanted to see why a LHD car was faster than his RHD car during qualifying

Ah ok. I did not watch FP2. I will watch it tonight to pick up on the technicality of this.

I see Bottas did OK in FP2 looking at the results.

He would have been faster in his own car
