Besides nursing a slight hangover Jaco is in excellent health thank you. It may be that he is just a sneaky bastice setting you Lewis fanboys up for a big fall.

Have a nice remainder of the weekend gents😆😆

    Slightly of topic...

I see Grosjean had pole in Indy. Finished 2nd.

Was he realy that crap in F1, or did the team hold him back?

Haas is not exactly the best team in F1.. So yes I think he was not at a team where he could perform

He was super good in F2 and at times showed it in F1. His problem was lack of consistency. I often got the feeling he was trying to extract more from the car than what was possible. This, I believe, prevented him from breaking into a top team.
That said, I'm really happy for him making it onto the podium. It takes a special kind of brave to get back into an open-wheeler after his horrific crash.

all drivers in F1 will dominate in any national series (maybe except mazepin). Very few are able to step up to F1 do well there. Grosjean did extremely well in lower series, but could not make the step up to F1 despite having good car initially and then floundered with Haas. Iím not surprised he is doing well in indycar.

Some drivers just never get the break into a competitive team and their record end up looking worse than they were by the end of their careers.
Some others get a break into a leading team which makes them look better than they were.
Nature of the beast sadly. There is a little bit of luck involved in F1 as well in order to make it to the top.

I was thinking of him when I made the comment. I reckon the same for Barrichello. Although I liked Barrichello

Not quite. Rubens Barrichello moved on to IndyCar in 2012 and didn't really make much of an impression, finishing 12th overall in the standings for that year. He moved to Stock Car Brasil racing in 2013.

he was erratic but showed he had speed, he just could not pull it together. He isnít a great driver in F1 terms, but far from the worst, but as per my OP he will clean up in any national racing series.

I never rated rubens, a good solid team driver but nothing more. Also he was never the same after his big accident with the wayward spring.

    Spring = Massa

Are you referring to Massa or Barrichello?

Keep an eye out on the new, once off McLaren Livery. Best looking car on the grid for Monaco.

Maybe I misunderstood when you said "all drivers in F1 will dominate in any national series". Rubens was an F1 driver, not so? And IndyCar is a national series. And yeah, I never respected the fact that he was more than willing to play lapdog to Michael Schumacher, but he did win a race or two in his time, so he wasn't too shabby behind the wheel.

And also, as Rebel 4x4 has pointed out, it was Massa that was hit by the spring, not Barrichello.
