This will probably be the 1st time for me and the Patrol on a trail.....

I foresee some "brandewyn-vlekke" in my future...

I would be really interested to see some vehicles do C trail in the reverse direction. it was quite daunting to do the first climb for the first time.
A vehicle with front lockers should do it much easier than I did.
There are some old videos, a short and a long one, the short video is edited to show just the successful climb and may be misleading. The Longer video is much more revealing, showing the struggle we had to get to the top.

It was a long time ago, but I am never over 1.8 bar on the farm and If I remember correctly I was at about 1.5 bar in that video.

I went with the left hand option and got it halfway cleared away.

Once again , watching the video afterwards it seems way easier than it does in real life. I can assure you that I am only doing enough to just get through wit the Hardbody , an though it does not have front lockers, it is lightweight and those soft Grabbers have very good grip.

A LOT of real HARD work there!!!
I guess ambient temperature could be problematic as well.
Yes, videos tend to make terrain look flatter or let's say less steep than reallity.
When I look back on some clips we have taken over time during our trips (with a basic trailer behind !!) it never gives the true picture and looks like a stroll in the park.
The reality however is just a little different, especially when travelling alone. (Madness, but yes we have done it.)
Now it is over to the younger guys.
The trails at Klein Pela I would say from these vids are waaaay beyond my abilities and experience excepting as a passenger with those more experienced in the driving seat.
Respect for all the hard work and effort going in here.

Ther is always more to do, always a next trail to work on where help is apreciated, but much ice and beer will be needed.

A trail is an easy 4, with a good spotter most drivers will be able to do it and E trail is a Grade 3, there is something for everyone.

I cleared away the big rock in the middle of the next climb, it took some planning and preparation to prevent it ending up in the way lower down on the trail.
