Since we only do off-grid camping our solar panels are an essential part of our setup.
For years I have been lugging around my fix solar panels (2 x 120w and 2 x 150w) on the rack of my Challenger trailer, the setup was heavy but it performed great.
Three weeks ago I bought a Conqueror Courage trailer and realized that there is no space for the big panels with this trailer and that I will have to look at foldable panels.
My search led me to the Flexopower MOJAVE220 @ R11,872.00 and the Snomaster 200W SOLAR PANEL (SP-200) @ R12,499.00
I then found Munnika Trading in Cape Town with a 200w panel @ R7 902-00
I ordered two 200w panels @ R14 223-00 (R7 111-00 each) + R300-00 for courier from Cape Town to Polokwane. (I got a 10% discount for the double order.)
This past weekend we went camping at Bendito Ranch, in the heat wave, with temps up to 35º and the batteries stayed full and the beer cold!
The panels, controllers, cables and accessories are all of good quality and I am very happy with the purchase
Thought I would share this with other budget minded forum members.![]()

You're making me very jelly.
I have 2x 80W fixed panels which are great, but they take up space. They're also comparatively heavy, at 15kg or so.
They were significantly cheaper than a flexible setup.... R1800 compared to yeah. R7000+

So the centre piece - black - is where the 2 cables need to feed in ?
Some more pics.
The quality, attention to detail and finishing off is good!
Velcro at all the strategic places to keep things together and heat shrink to keep dust and water out.

Got my set today, what can I say, awesome, looks and feels very very durable, plug and play, the weight and size an absolute winner. Can only echo what DC Polokwane has said.

Thanks for the posts Deo and Johan, appreciate the support. We now have many of these panels out there happily keeping the beers cold somewhere in the bundus.
My only challenge is keeping up with demand. We have very limited stock left in both the foldable and semi-flex models. Our next import orders have been placed but we are now experiencing 2 to even 3 months delivery times. Let's hope this gets better over time.
MunnikA Trading imports and distributes the Fitorch flashlight range and Flagsun solar products.

What amp would a set of 200W mentioned in this thread push back in to a battery? I have a 102ah that only runs 1 x fridge and lights. I've read and asked on this forum, some say 2 x 100W, some 2 x 120W - will this 1 x 200W suffice? These foldable are just SO much easier to lug around
I have a 20A victron charge controller.
