Default Road conditions Hluhluwe to Johannesburg

Hope fully my last request for assistance for my few days in Northern Kzn.

    Which way home.

What is the condition of the N2.

On Google maps it seems like lots of red areas which normally means road works or delays.

    Any other options?

    Dankie by voorbaat!

I did that route a few weeks ago going to Sodwana the road surface is in good condition but the traffic is the problem through Pongola and its surounding areas is a nightmare. busy with local traffic taxis and trucks. From Ermelo to Piet Retief its the trucks they dont give you a gap you have to be very carefull

We are safely home after an epic few days.

Traffic and road conditions were better than expected.

Obviously not smooth sailing but no major hold ups!

Hannes, may I plant the seed of a "trip report" please?

It will be invaluable for others wanting to do the same as you in the future.

Glad you and Mandy are safely home and that Zululand has had a chance to show some of it's splendour to you and yours.
