    Default Ruins for photoshoot

    Hi all you traveller's,

I am looking for something that someone might be able to help with. My son is scouting for some ruins where he can do a photoshoot. It does not have to be some fancy well known place. Even if it is somewhere on a farm, it could work. Preferably a sandstone type ruin will work best. If it could be similar to the attached photo, it would be a bonus. He is based in Centurion but is willing to travel to the Northern Cape, Freestate, etc.

Any ideas will be welcome and if you have a photo you can share, it will be even better. You can post here and I will PM/contact you or you can PM contact me on 078four22349five / daniekotze8 at gmail.com.

    Thanks in advance.

Any government building will be sufficient

On a serious note, Sammy Marks Museum (Pretoria East) has some nice ruins, I used to go there often when I was still doing photography. I'm not sure if they still allow photoshoots or public access though.

Maybe try a few train stations in and around Johannesburg - many of them have been vandalised to the point that one or more may serve the purpose.

And I really mean this - sad but true.

There are many interesting Photo opportunities at Ottoshoop and the defunct diamond diggings between there and lichtenburg!
