You probably need to order something like this: http://ae64.com/Rear-camera-16-pin.htm

Also attempted that (Toyota TNS510 in my Cruiser), eventually gave up as I had to cut wires to install wires as shown by Staalwol. Bought a dual camera clip on screen (clips on to rearview mirror) which allowed installation of a camera on the BL as well. Both cameras now serve as rearview mirrors all the time. Day time driving is great, night time not so great, but you can at least see lights approaching from behind.
I've have actually done it already, was quite simple to do.
I'll update this post with the details and pictures as soon as I get a chance.

The installation was straight forward.
Picture 1, I have marked the 16 pin and 28 pin plug. You will be using the 16 pin plug.
Picture 2 is the 16 pin plug and the pin outs to be use.
6 - Red wire is the Park brake signal
7 - CA+ Power supply to the original Toyota camera, it is 6V so you can't use it
8 - V+ Yellow wire from the camera
16 - V- Black wire from the camera
15 - Gnd - Ground/earth
The radio already has a reverse signal wire wired in, so no need to connect up to your reverse lights, but then you will need to tap 12V off the radio to power the camera.
Picture 3 is where the reverse signal is wired in, pin 2, Green wire, is you want to hard wire a switch in to switch the camera on wile driving you will put 12 onto the green wire.
Your reverse lights do come on tho if you hit the switch.

Neat flush mount into the bumper.
So basically you will only use pin 8 (yellow wire) and pin 16 (black wire) red, 12v you will take from the radio feed.

A diode is a one way valve. Your reverse lights are turning on because your switch is creating a route to ground. (Toyotas are negative switched). So you need to add a diode/valve to stop this flow to ground. Google: "reverse camera switch diode"
Here are 2 pictures shamelessly copied from google image searches.
Thank you Kenskind, that is very useful.
