    Default Zombie Offroad

    Hi All,

I was recommended these guys to kit out my daughters Jimny but they haven't answered any of my requests. Are they still operating?

Anyone other companies I can approach?

    Thank you

Had a similar experience with Zombie.

Have you chatted to Monty at wild 4x4 on the east rand?
He might be able to assist with what you are looking for

    Hi Willie,

Ive been told it needs some protection on the underside, so basically all those bits. Also looking for the recovery points front and rear.

    thank you

I have Henri Mouton of Zombie on whatsapp and on a group, and can't say I have seen him for a while. I left a message for him to come have a look here.

Ok thanks all for the replies.

Would rather deal with someone who does this for a living and is a reputable company (not to say this guy is not reputable). At least there is back up should I need it..

Will try the others as suggested.

    Thanks all.

My one and only time dealing with Monty at what was then Wizerd4x4 (I see he's changed business names) was getting a 40mm spacer kit on my Jimny.

Make an appointment, take time off work, drive from west rand to east rand, and then sit and wait and wait and wait. Eventually I go into the workshop asking when someone is going to help us!? Then a very grumpy Monty comes out to say his wife went to fetch the kids so no one is here to help. Okay fair enough, even though I booked an appointment etc, family matters can always get in the way...
Then they proceed to do the installation. After multiple coffee breaks, talking breaks etc. the job is done under an hour. Get the invoice, charged for two hours. Ask why? It's flat rate. But if you didn't take as many breaks you could do the job in 30mins!!??

Anyway, that left a sour taste in my mouth and then someone told me about Hendri at Zombie and all his prices are much better than Monty (in fact everything I bought afterwards was considerably more expensive at Monty).

When I ordered my transfer case protector from Zombie the courier had driven over the parcel with a truck!! (you could see the tyre track on the parcel) Hendri sent me a brand new one and was super helpful.

This is just my consumer shopping experience between the two suppliers.

If Hendri is unavailable for some reason (he does have a full time job as well) Then try Des Sol 4x4 in Durban. Those guys live and breathe Jimny's and have a very nice online shop as well.

Thank you. Looked at them but they seem to be almost double the pricing of the others. Why?

Is Pieter from Zook spares still operating?

When I had my Jimny he was also very helpful and has most of the goodies available.

I don't have his contact details anymore though.
