It clear that many people commenting here are using tactics and play from 30 years ago.

The game has moved on, a captain does not necessarily make calls like in the old days.

If you would like to better educate yourself (no disrespect meant, I had this same argument with my father), and understand a lot of this behind the scenes new styles watch Squidge Rugby's excellent videos on youtube.

There is a lot of thought and tactics that go into a game which are not obvious when watching live.

Duane is a huge loss due to his excellent coordination on defense, but in the most part I think our keys players where just tired and did not get the luck. Any other day and we could have won by 20 points.

I still see us winning the series.

I never claimed I was? Even Rassie gave Squidge a shout out for his accurate analysis. Give it a go. Might open your eyes.

So Ox is out, he was injured in the game on Saturday, might be why Rassie pulled him off?

I see Rassie and the players have gone from world champions to useless has-beens as anticipated.

The big difference is the Lions players coming of the back of tough comps like the ERC, English Premier League and 6 Nations.

Whereas we played in Japan and the Superrugby Touchrugby league.

    Hahaha.

I love Rassie, in the news conference around the team announcement he says he would never point out that the coming Saturday's referee Ben O'Keeffe and Warren Gatland are both Kiwis.

He then stresses that he would never point this out.

I can't gauge Pollard's kicking. He's nailed so many vital ones, but then this past Saturday he really messed up two fairly easy ones and missed another. I would have added Morne Steyn on the bench for if Pollard has another off day with the boot. I know this statement will be hated, but I think the team lacks a bit of experience overall, especially in the backs and more so on the bench.

The players in the Lions have been playing way more rugby than us and only beat us by 5 points....

If the Boks could have played test matches as per regular schedule, we would have beaten them by way more than 5 points.

My prediction of this weekends game...the Boks to turn the screws and beat them by a decent margin.

I think Rassie will be heavily censured for this video. But the point is rightfully made. Rassie is a master of the detail so it will be difficult to refute the content.

All his points are valid. I love how he communicates one thing but clearly implies something else. The key message however is consistency. The Boks seemingly took the referee's requests to heart and altered their strategy but then the ref forgot about his own requests. It is difficult for a ref to see everything, but some of these calls were downright bad.

Rassie however took psychological warfare to the next level and the pressure is on the next rev big time.

I thinks the Boks will come out this weekend firing on all cylinders.

It's not the first time the Boks were on the wrong end of stupid calls.

Who remembers Bismarck's LEGAL tackle on Dan Carter in what was a epic test match and got a YELLOW for it? But then the tip tackle in the Lions match that went unpunished?

How many penalties and cards were there in the RWC 2019 for high tackles where the tacklers hand was just around the shoulders of the opponent?

World Rugby seriously needs to look at their refs. Laws stay the same, but the ref interpretation of it seems to be wildly varying.

Rassie is only asking for consistency and fairness.

Just watched the clip. It is a good thing I drank so much beer during the match, otherwise I would have broke the TV

I will rather do the same this Saturday. So I can just watch the game and enjoy.

Rassie will take massive flack for this. But it is high time someone took World Rugby to task. Too much inconsistency.

It would be awesome if someone can do the same analysis from the other side so we can truly see the difference.
