    Default What is this, please?

    Good morning Landy Fans!

I feel like I'm not getting anywhere to find out what kind of rear axle my 90 has.

    It's a 1998/1999 Defender 90 TD5 (no ABS).

Please can anyone shine some light on what kind of rear axle this is?

I was under the impression all 90's have a Salisbury rear axle, but from what I've learned so far this is not a Salisbury axle?

Reason for asking, I'm interested in getting an ATB fitted...

    Thanks for sharing your wisdom!

Guido, your info is wrong: NO D90 had the Salisbury. Only certain D110s had the Salisbury.

That is a bog standard Rover axle.

IIRC - the 110's were fitted with a Dif that came to be called Salisbury [ Brit army playground on Salisbury planes] for their military as the Rovers kept breaking.

    well - if it's not correct - it's a nice story
