Default South African Reopening Select Land Borders 1 October 2020?

I found the attached news article on the probability of South Africa reopening select road borders on 1 October 2020.

    https://www.timeslive.co.za/politics...-dlamini-zuma/

I've searched the forum for a thread on this anticipating some comment but can't find anything. If I've missed it please direct me to the thread. Is there any update on this or is it still too early to be making any plans? Presumably there will still be issues with self-isolating etc etc?

Obviously neighbouring countries would also need to open borders to make the reopening borders effective (Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana), it would be awkward sitting ON Beitbridge for a few weeks waiting for Zimbabwe to open their side
