I have said it before on this forum. A sunroof is the most overhyped, under used over priced accessory you can specify on a vehicle. I'd pay extra not to have one. And yes, I have owned cars and 4x4's with sunroofs.

I really do not see the point. In the long run it also becomes a maintenance/wear problem as well.

Agree 100% but does that cabin not look a little bit cramped at the front with that huge middle console and that extra wide bolsters on the doors?
Suppose I will have to sit in one to see if it is an issue.
At least it seems like Toyota has learned from Land Rover with proper flat folding 3rd row.

Those door and console are problematic in many newer vehicles.
As an example, I cannot drive the new Merc GLE(ML) and GLS(GL) for exactly that reason, they seem to be rather spacious otherwise.

Looking at the photo of the light interior, it does seem a bit cramped. The photo of the dark interior is at a slight angle and there the space looks better. Difficult to tell, the proof will be in the sitting.

From what I have read the interior is more or less the same size as the out going 200 Series.

I am more interested in fuel economy and performance on the new 300 vs the old 200 Series. Cannot wait for the first road tests.
Think we will all be surprised in the ability of the new smaller engines. The 10 speed auto box will make up for short comings.

Is that not just different specs? Like GX, VX, etc? I think that Toyota is doing a GR Sport version as well (what for I don't know, but I suppose there is a market for them)

Different spec with different grille. There will be 3 different specs (Australia at least - but we will most likely also receive all 3).

I like the D4 sunroof setup. The 3rd row especially always looks airy.

Nice to be able to suntan while waiting for LR assist...........until you realise that your mates are actually relaxing by the pool at their destination.

I wonder how real these photo's are. I see six wheel studs, the real Cruisers have changed to five studs quite a few years ago. Do you think they changed back? Or is this a mule on a Prado chassis? Time will probably tell.

Well, it should leave enough usable space at the back with all 3 rows up. Not like the Prado 150 setup which they f*"*"d up the 3rd row space from the 120.

Despite the side folding mechanism, the 200 system works very well.

The GR Sport is the one with the black grill and wheels. I quite like it

Jip, as far as I remember there were 3 modules on that notices to the dealers.
