    Can you assist?

Where is the plug situated? Inside the cabin?

This is how I understand it. It caters for manual and auto gearboxes. Also don’t confuse the AU - setting with the gearbox one...it had me going for about a minute..

Well now that I have been driving around to see the effect of the settings, the nice one for me, with only one person and no trailer/caravan, is A1.5 setting.

any A3 setting is still too much for me personally, but if needed it will get you going much, much quicker..............

Hi guys, I gather that the 'NOR' mode is to drive with factory settings? At what mode do most of you drive for everyday use?

2020 Jimny, I find driving in the AU mode best.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this mode doesn't do anything but to select auto gearbox?

You have to select auto or manual transmission and then in AU mode the unit will adapt according to your driving style.

It is completely possible with the power+. It even has a crawl mode.

Can it be that different throttle controller's can have a different effect on throttle responses? That is one performs better than the other?

Why would you think that different products perform the same?

Well almost the same. Just that I might not experience all the fun/performance that others out there are having with their different units.

    Hi KPakkiri,

For that reason maybe consider rather doing a software upgrade, throttle controller only gives you a better throttle response whereby software actually gives you more kw / Nm. I did my PS 2016 and trust me, it runs like a bullet. Throttle response, turbo lag all gone and an improved fuel consumption.

I did my software in Richards bay at Tune 2 Race, they dyno the vehicle 1stly to get existing values, then download your current map, send it of to their engineers, then load the new map and dyno the vehicle again and adjust the air fuel ratios under load etc.

The PS after dyno have 161kw, and previously at 120km/h the best fuel consumption I got was 9.3km/ liter, now I get between 10.5 to 11km/liter.

I had the throttle controller installed yesterday. What a difference this little thing makes. It feels as though I have remapped the ECU to give me a little bit more kW's. I'd suggest anyone to take a look and give it a go.
So far I think anything in the A3 (racemode +) is a little too aggressive, but I suppose it could be used for overtaking etc.
I am currently running it in A1.9, and find it gives me enough of a response, but not too much.
The AU mode is auto mode (Combination of A1. A2, A3 and ECO) and it adjusts to your driving style.

I can pass the details on from the guy who installed it. He came out to my house, installed it, drove around with me to explain how the different settings work, and then I only paid him after I was satisfied. I'm based in the Cape Town area.

It was a try before you buy. I only paid after testing it out.
If I wasn't happy, it was merely an unplug of the device, which takes all of 30 seconds, and then to reinstate the original throttle cabling connection, which will take about 30 seconds as well..no harm done.
