Well @ 72 months and 5% interest its only slightly more than 16K per month.
Some people rent dwellings for 30K per month and still own nothing after 72 months.
Well let's calculate it.
For ZAR 1mil
Over a 5 year period
at 8.5% interest
You are looking at ZAR 20,516.53 per month. So if you HP makes up 20% of your disposal income (which is high), your disposable income comes in at ZAR 102k per month. So a CTC of around ZAR 150k should do you![]()
