    In Reverse
    - Rear and passenger camera only?

    In Drive

    In 4x4 Terrain Modes
    - All 4?

Is it only when in 4x4 Terrain Modes will more than 2 cameras work?

    Regarding your reverse question.
Are you asking whether more cameras should be activated?

Mine only activates the tailgate camera in reverse normal/4H mode.

Have you cycled through the different modes/options in every instance using the button below the mode button on the steeringwheel?

    Thanks Swakop.

Vehicle is at the auto electrician at the moment as the Front camera wasn't working (now sorted) - so don't have access to play around.

However, he says the right camera isn't displaying (it did display with me in Terrain Mode).

So question is which cameras should display in those specific scenarios - I know when reversing, the rear and left camera displayed.

Would like to tell him before he starts stripping things that potentially don't need to be stripped.

I sommer sat in the garage and cycled between drive and reverse in 4H and 4L.
The one thing I did notice is that my right mirror camera does not activate ay all, and I am not sure whther it should either.

    Thanks Swakop, really helpful!

My right camera only activates in the Terrain Modes, eg MOGUL.

So my system is operating like yours which I assume is normal.

In the beninging I decided to opt for the TX as I didn't think I'd ever need or see the need for these type of cameras, are they actually useful? aren't they always too dirty to see anything?
My reverse one was never really used as such and is now blocked by a braai grid.

The visibility down the sides of the 150VX and especially to the front is much worse than a Hilux or LC79. Most of the time this is not a problem.
However it becomes a problem when you want to place your wheels accurately or you go over a sharp rise. Here the front camera and LF camera makes a big difference.
Going down Van Zyl's, I did not need much input from the spotter because of the cameras.
(I never use the right cameras.)
If this sort of situation happens infrequently, I would not fit cameras - I'd rather ask SWAMBO to go ahead as spotter.

    My experience...

EDIT: Apart from the rear camera, they generally do not get dirty, except in mud. Part of my morning routine is to clean the windows and give the cameras a wipe at the same time.

The suspension on the TX is more robust than the VX.
