I have Desert Armour sliders and bash plate on my Everest. Brilliant quality products.

I even have a 2' lift (Not Ford Approved), bigger tyres, and a dual battery setup with no issues from the dealership.

Have to say I have never had mechanical issues, so I never needed to fight them on any thing

I went custom made sliders and bash plates. Other folks just tearing the ring out of their prices.

Had all my underbody protection and rock sliders made for the price of 1 set of sliders available locally. And they look just as good if not better.

Sliders 4mm tubing, 2 lengths a side. Powder coated (huge mistake)

Underbody plates 4mm mild steal painted with 2k.

    Total cost R6500

I've been wanting to do my own, I have the skills to CAD them and I have the skills & tools to weld it all up, but I'm so dreading the process of measuring each bolt hole and hoping I get it right that I end up not doing it.

If I could get my hands on accurate measurements, it would be a fun project.

I have a set of Uys's Stofpad box rock sliders on my Ranger. Works like a bomb, they have stood up to the test of time (and abuse dont tell Uys). I epoxy-coated the silver tread plate black to fit the rest of the rock slider (personal preference). The dealer has not said a single word regarding the sliders and and and.
