    I want to watch some dvd when the weather is nasty outside.
    I want something small and portable do not need tv just dvd and usb.
    Any sugestions
    Please no nasty comments

    Buy a laptop with a DVD player installed or buy an external DVD player that plugs into the laptop.

    we have some of these for our kids.
    similar to link.

    charges via power plug on vehicle. has decent play time and sound. Able to insert usb (not sure whether it will ready movies off it) earphones jacks also available on them.

    That is what I am looking for but cannot get anywhere.

    we have purchased those from picknpay Hypermarket in Brackenfell. IIRC Have seen those at makro.

    they are rather cheaply built, so you need to handle them with care
