Default 2004 Land Cruiser (Import) SatNav reload for SA

    Good Day,

I just bought a 2004 Land Cruiser that was imported from the UK.It has full satnav, however it does not have maps for SA. It has a cd loader under the driver seat for the SATNAV. Does anyone know how I can get it to load the SA maps?

Why the *bleep* do you want to load any map software on such an outdated infotainment system?

Just get real and use your phone for Google maps nav. You can get a dash cradle for it.

yip, agree with not touchign the factory system, it will be slow and the maps outdated for that generation

fit this to the car to retain oem looks and gain massively in functionality

should be plug n play and fit your dash like oem

I have brought in similiar units for my forester and pajero, i then either hotspot from my phone or connect to home network for updates and then you have satnav, bluetooth, even obd monitoring with a bluetooth dongle to the cars obd port

Thats also a better advise if it reasonably retains OEM looks.

The aircon controls for the VX auto were part of the touch screen. Will that unit take care of this issue...or is it meant for only the GX which had rotary controls?
