    Default Rear Window Demister Tab

One of the rear window demister tabs came off and I was trying to source some conductive glue to re-attach it without success.

I have now "Made a plan" which seems to have worked.

Cleaned base of tab and window strip with fine sandpaper and cleaned off with acetone.

Straightened tab out and held it tight against window strip and applied small amount of Pratley quickset steel to each side of Tab and held in place with in place with my finger until set enough to hold the tab in place (Patience needed here). Checked conductivity with multimeter. Allowed to set properly and then applied more quickset steel and allowed to cure fully and then bent tab back into shape and attached lead.

I'm glad to say it works perfectly - should outlast the Defender.

I haven't tried it yet - saving it for emergencies
