    I haven't installed a VHF radio but I had a similar problem some years ago when trying to install USB charge sockets from the battery. I ended up taking it to an auto electrician, the hassle was just too much.

    Yip im thinking on the same lines drop it off and pick it up again, only thing I still need to think about where to mount the antennae.

    On windscreen the antenna is fited outside and inside the modiol. And no there are nou holes drilled in windscreen

    Sorry but here's a pic of the Nav.

    I looped the reverse camera through the vent at the back of the cab. Just need to find the best place for the antenna.

    The top of the fender looks bit small to mount the antenna to.

    Must say had a couple of 600 to 700kg on the back bakkie went quite well.......quite loving this Nav
