    Default exhaust wrap paint?

I have white heat wrap for a bike exhaust, can I just paint it black with heat paint afterwards, or dye it?

Also heard that Matt black carbon chalk board paint works..

    any experiences or suggestions?

I used high temp spray paint on the race car, stinks the first time you run the engine but the smell goes away.

edited to add: I painted mine after fitment

Nothing screams "Bad workmanship" like wrinkles in the duct tape

I would strap a pre-painted piece on with hose clamps and to a test
