It's been a treat from a selfish perspective up here. All the parks are empty and the game calm. I've been in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara, Tarangire, Selous and of course Ruaha and only seen a handful of people.
As soon as you can travel you should get up here, it will be months before tourist numbers start to pickup and that will be a slow process so still time to enjoy.
The other bonus if you're a lodge type person is there are loads of cheap deals on places to stay, we've never had a lockdown so those who are open are just desperate for turnover not even profit. Most lodges are closed as there is almost zero tourism.
