Realistically what is the lead time for the pale ale for Gauteng delivery and how is your supply chain coping?

Well done though, I have zip experience with brewing (except Pineapple beer) so if you can simply for us then great!
Yep, I'm sold out. The blondes I'm going to have to do one-one if people want, but that's not in the pipeline for now (don't have the time). The Pale Ales are on backorder and I'm brewing another 3kL at the brewery on Thursday. That means Friday is pickup day, and people will be able to meet me at the Brewery in Kyalami during the course of the day sometime (I'll confirm) if they don't want to ship and Kyalami is closer!

Thanks man. You'd be surprised how well people respond when actual breweries (like yourself) punt a product somewhere. So really, thanks for that!

Im obviously being really stupid here.

Firstly, how do I setup an account? It only wants my login details, no where to setup an account?

Secondly, if I order and then checkout, I put in all my info, but it automatically includes the delivery fee, but I can collect, I dont need to pay the extra R175?

    Please help this simpleton here

    Hi Wynand,

Many thanks for the efficient service. I ordered on Friday, paid and received my 2 x Pale Ale packages today. As a rookie pineapple and ginger beer brewer during the 1st ban, with mixed results, I can't wait to get it going, just need to find/collect the bottles.

    Good luck with your venture.

    Regards Charles

Same mate. That fresh, cool wort smell is pretty amazing, I have to admit. Reminds one a lot of Milo, actually.

I'm sorry, my account creation isn't fully functional yet (had issues) so I disabled it. You can buy and checkout and order and everything without an account though. I charge R175 for shipping outside of Gauteng, and I think the system picks up you're outside so it removes the Local pickup option from your checkout. If you want to pick up though, you can just do COD and send me an email or something to confirm, and then you don't have to pay shipping.

Placed an order but selected COD. I see that was for prior arrangement, hopefully thats ok? If all goes well then I can pick up from the Brewery on Friday. Let me know.

I will be using 2 liter coke bottles in a dark cupboard. A mate of mine suggested spray painting the bottles black to keep the sunlight out

Graham, you can use anything preferably brown or even white if you store the beer away from UV.

    Brown PET would be ideal.

Sanitise with a peracetic acid beforehand. 5% synthetic vinegar will work. Immerse the bottles and caps and allow to drip dry.

It makes no sense for you guys to start buying caps and cappers and glass bottles.

So vinegar is better than using bleach dilution with water?
