How big air gap do I leave when filling and how important is it. I had few bottles with nice frizz and others not so good. Is this a factor?
Might also be the sugar added as it was estimated with tea spoon when bottling but wondered.
Will order this week if available.

So the amount of sugar on bottling makes a huge difference. Headspace as well. More headspace will lead to higher carbonation, and less headspace leads to less. So I usually tell people "fill them to the level the bottles are filled you buy in the shops". Goes for glass and plastic. That's the best level, IMO.

No worries. If you want your can shipped a bit cheaper (read: free) I think I'll be able to get a lift for it to Potchefstroom next weekend (the 12th). I think I'm going down there, and should be able to lug one or two along, so keep it in mind.

In a pinch, the special price goes away... :P

I kid, I'll honour the special I ran before this new ban. R200 off. Collection only, shipping is a bitch on these and my cheap local courier company died.

Too true in transport. Too expensive, no one uses you, to cheap you can't survive. It's the south African throat cutting way.

Yep, it's sad, considering how well we got along. He would often do same-day deliveries for regular budget pricing. But unfortunately companies died due to lockdown. His was just one of them.

As a PS: The first guy collected his fresh wort kit today.

I have enough beer and brannas to last me quite a while, but I still like his pale ale a lot and at a discount price, I cant resist.

OK so I made a fermenting bucket 25L, wif a kraantjie and airlock bubler thingy DIY style.

Hope I did not mess it up with decanting it into my bucket, I did rinse it properly with warm water and miltons and cleaned my hands and showered in jik and gargled some hand sanitizer.

In this heat how long will it take to be finished fermenting?
